THE PRODUCER

The Producer is full-featured 6-channel cinema stereo system that will allow theatre operators to offer an exciting audio show to their patrons for very little cost. Instead of using a Front/Surround system in your smaller houses (less than 250 seats), you now have the option of installing a real theatre sound system. The Producer comes complete with all of the electronics and speakers needed to produce breathtaking 6 channel sound using modern theatre playback channels (L, C, R, LS, RS, Sub). All of electronic components are mounted in a 21" wall rack, factory harnessed, and full tested as a system at our factory to ensure worry free operation at the job site. Simply mount the rack on a wall near the projector, hook up the sound head (either conventional solar cell or LED type), mount and hook up the speakers, adjust the system, and you are ready to play!

The Producer includes the following equipment:


• The MOD VI is a revolutionary approach to the problem of a low cost 6-channel analog processor. It utilizes a Digital Signal Processor based matrix running patented Circle Surround (r) matrix software. Circle Surround can derive 6 channels of audio from an optical sound track. In addition, the MOD VI comes standard with Noise Reduction emulation circuitry to play back both Type A and SR prints as well as SRS (r) sound enhancement processing. Single Octave Equalization is provided for 5 of the audio channels. Inputs include a two projector balanced input, 6 channel input for connection to a digital player, and a music input.
• The MN600 Stereo Check is a 3.5" active booth monitor that can check the status of either the processor or the amplifier outputs. It comes with a high quality Panasonic(r) speaker and a 5-Watt audio amplifier.
• The all new TA6300 6-channel Amplifier is the power plant for the Producer. It delivers 200 Watts to each of the stage channels and surround channels and 325-Watts to the subwoofer. It has two ventilation fans to keep this highly reliable amplifier and all other components in the rack cool for many years of service.
• Three Stage 1-90 Cinema Stage loudspeakers provide clear highs and powerful bass. A fiberglass horn and 2" compression driver is matched with a professional high quality 15" loudspeaker that is mounted in a 3/4" MDF cabinet. The internal crossover has been preadjusted at the factory for motion picture playback use. The Stage series of loudspeakers are extremely easy to install!
• The Smart-Wharfedale 2180 Surround Speaker offers wide dispersion through the use of tweeters mounted on both the front baffle and the side of the speaker. Wide dispersion means that all your patrons hear surround, not just the ones sitting in front of the speakers. The Producer comes with (8) 2180s along with the new Versamount wall bracket. The Versamount bracket allows for infinite adjustment capabilities.
• One DS573 Subwoofer completes the Producer system. The DS573 is the single high power 18" version of our THX(r) approved double 18" subwoofer. 3/4" MDF construction makes sure that all of the acoustic energy is transmitted to the room and not absorbed into the cabinet.
• Also available "Digital Now!", a package which includes the above equipment as well as The Afterburner PnP. The Afterburner Plug-n-Play is our standard Afterburner 6-channel dynamic range limiter teamed up with a patch panel for quick, easy connections to you roll-around digital player. There are separate connections for each of the three major digital players currently on the market utilizing standard, inexpensive, commercially available cables.
