  • Inconsistent CV formats: Resumes arrived in many different styles and templates, complicating standard screening. Recruiters spent extra time hunting for basic details (education, key skills) in each CV, slowing down hiring and making candidate comparisons difficult.
  • Time-consuming manual reviews: With hundreds of resumes to sift through, HR spent hours extracting details by hand. This manual approach was inefficient and prone to human error, fatigue or oversight could cause qualified candidates to be missed. The slow pace also risked losing top talent to faster-moving competitors.
  • Limited technical expertise in initial screening: Many openings were IT roles, but first-round reviews were done by HR staff with minimal tech background. They often struggled to interpret programming skills or project details, relying on guesswork or needing help from technical colleagues. This gap risked misjudging candidates and further bottlenecked the hiring process.

  • LLM-based resume extraction: A Large Language Model (LLM) was used to automatically read and extract structured data from resumes. It accurately identifies key sections like work experience, education, and technical skills, even from unstructured or inconsistent formats, eliminating the need for manual data entry and reducing errors.
  • Standardized JSON output: Extracted data is organized into a consistent JSON structure, making every candidate profile uniform and searchable. This format enables recruiters to quickly sort, filter, and compare applicants while ensuring no critical information is overlooked.
  • Auto-generated Word resumes with tailored templates: Using the structured data, the system creates professionally formatted .docx resumes based on role specific templates. Each CV is polished, consistently styled, and highlights relevant experience, ready to be shared internally or with clients without any additional formatting work.
  • Seamless integration with existing workflows: The solution was integrated directly into the company’s current HR systems, parsing incoming resumes automatically in the background. Recruiters continued using familiar tools, with minimal training, allowing for a faster and more efficient hiring process without disrupting daily operations.
