On February 6, 2025, SmartDev had the distinct honor of hosting a delegation from the Department of Information and Communications (DIC) of Da Nang at its headquarters, located on the 6th Floor of the Vietnam News Agency Building, 81 Quang Trung, Da Nang.
The delegation was led by Mr. Le Son Phong, Deputy Director, and Mr. Vinh Trung from the IT Division of DIC. On behalf of SmartDev, three members of the Board of Management—Mr. Lang Vinh Tuong, Ms. Nguyen Thi Luan, and Mr. Le Vu Nguyen—engaged in meaningful discussions on emerging governmental poli
cies, structural changes, and opportunities for collaboration in fintech and artificial intelligence (AI).

- Investment Attraction and Capital Raising Assistance: The DIC is committed to assisting businesses in securing investment by providing documentation that highlights Da Nang’s competitive advantages. This initiative aims to attract funding and reinforce public-private sector collaboration, driving further investment into the city’s technology ecosystem.

A key outcome of the meeting was the agreement to feature SmartDev’s ベリーペイ solution at the grand opening of the CNC building. As part of an exhibition spotlighting locally developed technologies, VeryPay—engineered by Da Nang-based talent—will be showcased for its ability to enhance financial inclusion in developing African nations.
Additionally, SmartDev reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the DIC in demonstrating cutting-edge fintech and GenAI solutions, including VeryChat and the Live Translation Tool, whenever required. These solutions underscore SmartDev’s expertise in driving digital transformation and innovation.
