The Southeast Asian region has shifted gradually towards cashless payments systems. The client wanted to position itself as a leading player in this market. It approached SmartDev, looking to hire a team of experts to help CEO realise his goal of making the company larger and larger. SmartDev was proud to be selected as a trusted partner to build the foundations of one of the leading digital-only neo banks in South East Asia.

 

Paramount to this project was performing to tight timescales under extreme pressure from a leading organisation looking to build an app and platform that was new, challenging and embraced the very latest technology. SmartDev recruited, trained and managed a highly skilled team to deliver this project on time and to the CEO’s satisfaction, all within 12 months.

A team of 15 developers including Android, iOS and Java specialists worked with AirAsia’s tech team over a period of 12 months to build the app. Underpinned by the latest technology, the client features enable users to carry out payments, transfers, remittances and many more financial services seamlessly across multiple countries. The app needed to be scalable in real time to meet high demand.
