Alistair Copeland, who has been instrumental in SmartDev’s development over the past four years, will transition from his role as CEO to become the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Verysell Group. Under Alistair’s leadership, SmartDev has experienced remarkable growth, with a tenfold increase in revenue since its acquisition. His contributions have established SmartDev as a renowned leader in talent acquisition, innovation, and employee engagement, creating a dynamic environment for its employees. As COO of Verysell Group, Alistair will focus on overseeing the Group’s operations and working closely with the Board of Directors to drive strategic direction and operational excellence.
In conjunction with Alistair’s new role, SmartDev is thrilled to announce the promotion of Lang Vinh Tuong to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Tuong, who has served as SmartDev’s Chief Commercial Officer since May last year, brings over 15 years of experience in the IT Outsourcing (ITO) industry. His leadership has been pivotal in driving SmartDev’s growth, expanding its market presence across Europe and into key regions such as APAC (Singapore, Thailand, Australia,…), Germany, and the United Arab Emirates. Tuong’s strategic vision and innovative approach make him the ideal leader to guide SmartDev into its next phase of development.
These leadership changes come at a time of exciting advancements within the Verysell Group. SmartDev is continuing its upward trajectory, with significant developments including VeryPay’s strengthened presence in the African market, the Applied AI Lab’s ambitious plans to launch a groundbreaking AI product, and new global market expansions. The restructuring of the Group’s top management is set to enhance operational efficiency and drive future success across all brands.
