On Monday, September 9th, 2024, SmartDev hosted a pivotal event that marked a significant milestone in the company’s journey. The event, held simultaneously in Da Nang and Ha Noi, and accessible globally via Zoom, was a momentous occasion where the new CEO was officially announced.
The CEO Appointment Ceremony took place across multiple locations. In Da Nang, participants attended offline at the Conference Hall, 3rd Floor, 81 Quang Trung, while in Hanoi, the event was held offline at the Hanoi office. For other remote staff, the ceremony was accessible online via Zoom. All attendees followed the dress code, wearing either the SmartDev’s shirt or formal uniform. Petr Krasnov, CEO of The Verysell Group, and Alistair Coperland, COO of The Verysell Group, were in attendance along with SmartDev’s Board of Directors and all company staff, making the event a significant milestone for the company.

1. Warm Welcome and Opening Remarks from CEO and COO of The Verysell Group
The event kicked off with a warm welcome from the Board of Directors, Petr Krasnov (CEO of Verysell Group) and Alistair Copeland (COO of Verysell Group) setting a positive and enthusiastic tone. The opening remarks highlighted the importance of this leadership change and its anticipated impact on SmartDev’s future.
2. Introduction of the New CEO
The highlight of the event was the introduction of SmartDev’s new CEO, Tuong Lang Vinh announced by Tam Vo, HR Manager of SmartDev, followed by a heartfelt presentation of flowers from Ms. Luan Nguyen, Finance Director of SmartDev. The Board of Directors shared insights into the selection process, emphasizing the new leader’s extensive experience, visionary approach, and commitment to driving SmartDev towards new heights. Additionally, video showcasing feedback from Tuong’s colleagues was presented, celebrating the remarkable achievements Tuong has accomplished during his 500-day-journey at SmartDev.

3. CEO Speech: Future Vision and Strategy

The new CEO, Tuong Lang Vinh took the stage to share their vision for SmartDev. Tuong shared success stories as well as lessons learned from various companies in the industry, such as Dell or Google that could be implementable to SmartDev. He also outlined strategic initiatives aimed at innovation, growth, and enhancing the company’s market position. The CEO’s address was met with applause and optimism, as employees and stakeholders alike resonated with the forward-thinking plans.
4. Interactive Q&A Session
An interactive Q&A session followed, allowing employees to engage directly with the new CEO. This session fostered a sense of transparency and inclusivity, as the CEO addressed various questions and concerns, reinforcing their commitment to open communication.

5. Closing Remarks and Future Outlook
The event concluded with closing remarks from the Board of Directors, reiterating their confidence in the new leadership and the exciting journey ahead. The outlook shared during the event left everyone inspired and motivated.
