Can SmartDev integrate with our existing logistics systems?
Yes. SmartDev can integrate logistics management, warehouse management, CRM, ERP, document-management, tracking, and case-management systems. The objective is to improve information flow without requiring every existing platform to be replaced.
Does NORA make logistics decisions automatically?
NORA can process standard cases and apply client-approved operational rules. Cases involving ambiguity, commercial judgment, unusual risk, or incomplete information are escalated to authorized employees for review.
How do we see what’s happening inside the workflow?
Every workflow we deploy is instrumented: processing status, service levels, exception volume and type, cost per case, and where cases are waiting. That’s operational monitoring of the process we run with you. If you already run a transportation visibility or tracking product, we integrate with it not replace it; the monitoring we add is about the decisions and exceptions in your workflow, which is a different question from where the shipment physically is.
Can NORA handle customs classification, trade compliance, or dangerous-goods rules?
It can operate them that it doesn’t interpret them. If your trade-compliance or customs team has approved the classification logic, screening rules, or handling requirements, we build those into the workflow as validation rules, approval paths, and an evidence trail.
We need engineering work, not workflow automation. Is that still SmartDev?
