This September, スマートデブ そして ベリーペイ teams from both Da Nang and Hanoi came together for two memorable Company Trip 2026 journeys — from Kobi Onsen Resort Hue to Làng Nương Yên Tử, Quảng Ninh.
More than simply taking a break from work, this year’s Company Trip created valuable space for our people to reconnect, recharge, and spend meaningful time together beyond the usual rhythm of meetings, deadlines, projects, and daily responsibilities.
Across both offices, the trips were filled with shared meals, team activities, games, spontaneous conversations, Gala Dinners, laughter, and moments that brought colleagues closer together.
But beyond the experiences themselves, Company Trip 2026 carried a deeper meaning: strengthening the sense of unity that connects our people, our management teams, and our shared journey forward.

In a fast-moving working environment, it is easy to focus heavily on delivery, performance, and what comes next. Company Trip 2026 gave us the opportunity to slow down and reconnect with the people behind the work.

Creating these experiences is part of how we show appreciation for our people that not only through work and development opportunities, but also by giving teams the time and environment to rest, reconnect, and feel valued.
For some, it was a chance to spend more time with colleagues they work with every day. For others, it was an opportunity to connect with teammates from different departments, functions, and levels of the organization. These simple moments matter.
Whether through a conversation over dinner, a team challenge, a shared joke, or simply spending time together outside the office, every interaction helped strengthen the relationships that support how we work together every day. The result was something difficult to measure, but easy to feel: a stronger sense of connection, openness, trust, and belonging.
One Team, Shared Experiences
Although the Hanoi and Da Nang teams experienced different destinations, the spirit behind both journeys was the same.

At Kobi Onsen Resort Hue, the Da Nang team enjoyed time together through activities, challenges, and a memorable Gala Dinner. With the exciting minigames, we found many enthusiastic winners throughout the event, bringing even more energy, laughter, and friendly competition to the trip. From quick challenges to team-based activities, everyone had the chance to participate, cheer for one another, and enjoy the spirit of the moment.
Beyond the prizes, the minigames created opportunities for colleagues to interact across teams, strengthen connections, and share plenty of memorable moments together. Every winner was celebrated, but the real highlight was seeing everyone fully engaged, supporting one another, and enjoying the experience as one team.
While in Yên Tử, the Hanoi team shared two days filled with conversations, laughter, team experiences, and moments that made colleagues feel less like people simply working together and more like friends and family.
Surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of Yên Tử, everyone had the chance to slow down, step away from daily routines, and spend meaningful time with one another. From shared meals and team activities to spontaneous conversations and memorable moments during the Gala Dinner, the trip created a warm and open environment where people could connect more naturally.
These shared experiences reminded us that strong teams are not built through work alone. They are also built through trust, mutual understanding, openness, and the memories people create together.
Management Unity for the Next Stage of Growth
Company Trip 2026 was also an important opportunity for our management teams to come together, reconnect, and strengthen alignment around the future of SmartDev and VeryPay. As both organizations continue to grow, unity at the management level becomes increasingly important.
Different teams may lead different functions, offices, business areas, or priorities, but ultimately, we are working toward a shared ambition: building stronger organizations, creating more value for our customers and partners, and providing an environment where our people can continue to develop. Company Trip 2026 was a big opportunity to strengthen that unity.
Beyond the activities and celebrations, the Company Trip also created an important space for our Town Hall, where Mr. Vladimir Vereschagin – CEO & CCO of SmartDev from the management team shared the direction SmartDev is taking into its next stage of growth. A key focus was our positioning around AI Adoption Solutions, helping clients move beyond isolated AI experiments and embed AI more effectively into real business operations, products, and delivery environments.
The discussion also highlighted how this direction is already being translated into practice. One recent large-scale MVP project for the UK client, delivered successfully, demonstrated how SmartDev can combine engineering capability, AI expertise, and structured delivery to turn an ambitious concept into a working solution.
At the same time, internal promotions within the Production team reflected our continued investment in strengthening core capabilities, ensuring that as our services evolve, our people, leadership structure, and delivery expertise evolve with them.
Coming together outside the normal working environment allowed the management team to exchange perspectives more openly, reflect on our journey, and reinforce the shared responsibility we have for what comes next.
It is about maintaining a common direction, strengthening collaboration between teams, and ensuring that as SmartDev and VeryPay evolve, we continue to move forward with a shared sense of purpose. The strength of an organization depends not only on individual teams performing well, but also on leaders being able to work together, support one another, and create clarity for the people around them.

Throughout both trips, the energy and enthusiasm from our teams reflected the culture we continue to build that one where people can work hard, communicate openly, support one another, and still find time to enjoy the journey together.
