On the evening of January 10, 2025, at the Grand Mercure Hotel in Da Nang, the Group CEO of Verysell, Mr. Petr Krasnov, delivered a heartfelt speech at SmartDev’s 10-year anniversary celebration, which coincided with the company’s New Year Party.
In his address, Mr. Krasnov reflected on the company’s remarkable journey and growth. Acknowledging his words from the previous year, he stated: ‘I was here a year ago, and I remembered what I had said: ‘This may be the last time we are going to have one party for the whole company in Vietnam because next year we will be too big.’ And it’s true. This year, we celebrate two parties: one in Hanoi and one in Da Nang. This room will also be too small for us, and we’re looking forward to it.”
2024: A Year of Transformation
Leadership Transition: Mr. Krasnov acknowledged the significant leadership change that occurred in 2024, recognizing the immense contributions of the outgoing CEO, Tuong, who played a pivotal role in growing SmartDev from humble beginnings in 2020. “From fitting just two tables to now barely fitting all the people in this room,” he remarked, expressing his gratitude and best wishes for Tuong’s next journey. He also warmly welcomed Tam for continuing to grow the SmartDev family and driving its success.
The Launch of VeryPay: A major highlight of the year was the launch of VeryPay, Verysell’s first internally developed product. After four years of development and commercialization, 2024 marked the moment VeryPay went live.
Mr. Krasnov expressed his gratitude to the VeryPay team for turning this vision into reality and shared his enthusiasm for 2025 as a year of hockey stick growth for the product.
Achieving SOC 2 Type 2 Certification: Closing the year on a strong note, SmartDev achieved critical certifications, including the prestigious SOC 2 Type 2 certification. Mr. Krasnov emphasized its importance, particularly in demonstrating SmartDev’s commitment to security and compliance in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector. “This achievement underlines our dedication to excellence,” he stated.
